Pistachio Pesto

Verdict: 6/6 of us will return.

1: Pizzas : Of the three, My favourite was surprisingly the Pistachio Pesto. I was abit skeptical because I liked meat on my pizza whenever possible, but this vegetarian one is really good in the sense that it was really light but flavourful.  One of the best vegetarian pizza I ever had.

2. The food is quite a long wait  .. Although ordered around 12:15, the food came around 12:45 .. so be prepared to wait during lunch

3. Appetizers: Clams were really good! not too over cooked and no sandy taste to it. the sauce was pretty light as well 🙂 not too heavy

Damage: $15 per pax

Verdict: 2/2 of us will return

it is quite a hearty meal I must admit. Both of us were stuffed full after the meal.
The fish was well executed, the sides were seared nicely with a little crisp, and yet not drowned in oil.
Garden risotto was very hearty although it was all vegetables, it was pretty substantial.

A very nicely tucked away for chillout sessions or just catching up 🙂
Will like to try the brunch next time 🙂

Shinkansen Salad

Decided to check out this new salad place

how rare is it that they put hamachi (yellow tail) into salads??

So how this works is, you get to choose your size, base, extra toppings and sauce

Hamachi Sashimi Salad

Hamachi Sashimi Salad

Salmon Sashimi based salad

Salmon Sashimi based salad

Verdict: 2/2 of us will never return

1) Hamachi was fishy (felt like they left there for too long kind a fishy)
2) Salmon was also just average honestly

We were disappointed.
Although this was priced slightly higher than average salads, we didn’t feel like we got our bang for the buck.

*Classified under vegetarian because there are just non-meat options for vegetarians 🙂
