Cebu: #3.2 Razon’s Halo-halo

Following the full meal, my friend brought us to this traditional Filipino Dessert House to try their dessert:
Halo Halo

While waiting for the dessert, around the vicinity this shop below has second hand clothes that come from all over the world ( from funerals or even US and all) that are priced really cheap! At times, you can even find money inside that people forgot to take out.

Back to the dessert, so we ordered to share:

Verdict: 7/7 of us will return.
The kids really loved the ice-cream they had to really be at each other’s throats to share it 🙂
Halo Halo, this is the first time I am eating this, and by far I think it resembles our local dessert Chendol to some extent. Between the layers of ice, there are dried jackfruit, banana, gula melaka and other things inside that I am not sure what the name is. On top is like a “creme bulee” equivalent. Very interesting dessert I have eaten thus far.
The Palabok is just a simple type of noodle (reminds me of mee siam/mee rebus to some extent because of the texture of the sauce and the ingredients). The sauce kinda taste abit faint, not starchy as I thought it would be.

If only we had a bigger stomach!!!

Following this,
we had the experience of taking the jeepney before being sent to the air port!
