Tokyo:#7.1

My brother told us that we definitely had to check out this Tonkatsu place because its highly recommended on his list of places to go. My sister and dad was super excited as they were looking forward to a good Tonkatsu treat throughout the whole Japan trip. So we went

I ordered a seasonal special set – didnt feel like eating only tonkatsu, so my set came with

this tofu appetizer tasted like dau hui

tofu hotpot - yums 🙂 MINE 🙂

seasonal simmered veg - not very nice

came with my set - raddish and toufu wrap, chicken breast wrapped with something, cold beans with veg, pickles

we ordered to share as well

Oden - mediocre

Kani Croquette - so so

and then of course, the main thing

3 different types of sauces ; sweet, ponzu and spicy

Tonkatsu - 120 g

Tonkatsu 170 g

barley rice

best miso soup i ever drank

veg - the good thing is this is free refills together with the rice and miso soup

look at the fats of the tonkatsu

Overall, this place is enjoyable – for sure everyone was happy with the quality and standard of the tonkatsu! 🙂 will definitely return for this

after such a full lunch, we decided we will all go hunt down the best chestnut cakes from the food basement at Takashimaya.

so I came with

My brother came with

Base was a little burnt

Conclusion: both are plain awesome in their chestnut creamness 🙂
